Jim from SMART automation has installed several cameras for me, at my office and home. I really, really appreciated how knowledgeable he was about the cameras, best positioning, how to connect them etc. I went with hardwired Google NEST cameras and they have just worked flawlessly since we installed the first ones over 4 or 5 years ago. After the last set of cameras my plan now is to move on the light and other automation this year. Jim / Smart automation will be the first and only people I call for this type of service.

Jim has been great to work with and I’ve used SMART Automation a couple of times for different smart home projects. Most recently, I had Jim do a complete installation of a Brilliant lighting system in my new home. While there was a natural learning curve to figure out this system, as it was Jim’s first time installing a Brilliant system, he and his colleague David did a fantastic job of getting it all installed. We did over 20 Brilliant light switches plus the control panel, as well as just updated some vanilla rocker switches to Lutron’s black switches. Overall, a great job and I would definitely recommend and work with Jim again. He’s passionate, knowledgable, and enjoys doing small and large smart home projects.
